My Mission
All throughout my working life, I have always had a burning desire to help people understand themselves a little better, so they could appreciate themselves more and make better life choices to have more joyful and fulfilling lives.
This desire lead me into a coaching and training career for over forty years and I thought I would continue my “9 to 5” until I retired, then it happened.
I Discover my “Use By Date”
The organisation that I was working for lost sight of its mission to provide quality training in a safe, supportive environment and became profit driven. It no longer had the best interests of their employees or customers at heart.
As a result, I left the organisation (with no backup plan – what a numpty!) and a few months later applied for several positions in similar occupations once more.
To my horror, I soon realised I now had “too much grey hair” to be competitive. Over 40 years in education and training down the drain!
I was extremely hurt and disillusioned by this turn of events and this situation, led me to reflect on my previous career and consider what I really wanted to do with my life to further support my wife and family.
It was then I decided that if I couldn’t find work that I wanted, that I would learn to generate an income using my own abilities, so I would never have to rely on anyone ever again for employment and pay check.
This decision encouraged me to explore the possibilities of combining my passion for helping people make better life choices with the potential of on-line and affiliate marketing.
My Wakeup Call
However, two things held me back.
First, I was uncertain if I could provide enough value to others, and second, I had little understanding of technology.
Until……..
A 13 year old girl suicided in my home town because of a comment left on her Facebook page and…..
A few days later, I found my friend dead on the hallway floor, knowing he had died, alone with his best gifts trapped inside him.
These tragic events combined with my passion to help others, triggered me to take action and enter a brave new world, online.
Down the Rabbit Hole
As a result of this decision, for a couple of years I stumbled, tripped and fell into every pothole and bear trap imaginable in the marketing world! I had master degrees in the deadly “shiny thing syndrome”
Finally through making disastrous and costly errors I developed sufficient skills to produce a couple of online magazines “Self Esteem and Success” and “Home Based Careers” which focused on personal development and creating a sustainable income from home. At last! I was on my way to becoming successful.
Not Again!
Tragedy struck though, when the international database which held my magazines was hacked and held for $250,000 ransom. Back to the drawing board!
I was devastated! What the hell was I going to do now!
The only option seemed to be was to find a job and go back to the 9-to-5 grind.
Light at the end of Tunnel
Before I did this though, I thought I would give it one last try.
Surely, I said to myself, there must be one successful and trustworthy internet marketer willing to teach me what I need to know to develop a successful online business.
Then I discovered John Thornhill.
He gave me the greatest gift you can have, hope.
Then he gave me a second, he restored belief in myself.

Now, through this blog, as my online journey continues, I would like to share my resources, experience and knowledge with you, so you may avoid all the mistakes I have made and have the opportunity to build a profitable home-based business, at your own pace, using your own natural talents, passions and abilities that no one can ever take away from you.
To help you along, I will have blog posts and “freebies” that cover crucial aspects of both personal development, mindset, habits etc and online business essentials. Plus, some bloody great photos of the Australian outback!

The difference between each and every one of us, is our willingness to learn and not try, but take action in areas that are important to our personal life journey.
